Week one

Well hello there and welcome to Mychuno’s Achievement Challenge. I’ve toyed with this idea since Mojo posted about it but I could never commit to such a large scale challenge. Here I am ready to do just that and a big thank you to all the creators who are tackling this challenge and leading the way.

We start with the Redhill’s, a Name Game challenge that can be found here. I’m a huge fan of playing for points and I love this challenge. So here we are.

Meet Jonah Redhill. He is our founder for the Name Game challenge and he needs to find himself a wife. Then he can start on having SIX babies, so let’s pray to the sims god that there are no multiples because there is no room for error here.

Jonah has the City Native aspiration (because he will reside in San Myshuno) and his traits are Materialistic, Ambitious and Genius. His traits were randomized but I selected his aspiration based on his location.

Jonah rented 930 Medina Studios, 3 Bed, 1 Bath. It has the Gnomes and Penny Pixies lot traits, and located in the Art District. He is eager to find a wife and settle down.

Jonah is pleased with the couch, thanks to his Materialistic trait.

Then we went and spent to much money on these MySims Trophies because we want points. There will be three collections completed this challenge but I’m not sure what the other two will be.

There are no rules I read about moving, so I’m unsure if Jonah will stay in the 3 bedroom apartment or movie somewhere more spacious as the family grows.

Jonah was not having any luck with the ladies. There were a few eligible women but none that made his heart flutter.

He was looking for the one.

It was getting late and the rain was not letting up, so he hailed a cab to Planet Honey Pop! as his destination. A few drinks later he was singing karaoke when his wife walked in.

Summer Holiday didn’t know it yet but she was about to become Summer Redhill.

They ended the night with a first kiss and hug.

Jonah went home and continued to think about Summer and all the children they would have.

He needed a hobby.

Jonah took up writing. So far he hasn’t written anything because he is practicing his writing. Maybe make more on his royalty checks.

Jonah received his first promotion. He’s now a Campaign Intern (2).

Now he is going to collect some snow globes and posters because those are 2/3 collections we are gathering for this challenge.

Jonah attended the Humor and Hijacks festival outside his apartment. What I didn’t realize was he needed to attend this festival for the next tier of his aspiration and I forgot, so now we will have to wait for who knows how long.

They are literally the cutest. Jonah asked Summer to move in with him and she of course said yes.

He’s becoming a pro with the bubble blower.

Summer received a makeover after joining the household.

Jonah took Summer to the Myshuno Meadows where he got down on one knee and proposed to her with the view of the city behind them. How romantic.

Summer – YES YES YES!!! A THOUSAND YESES!

Of course a celebration was required.

Summer – I’m pregnant

Summer has a job as a Head Dishwasher (2). She has been keeping the fridge will stocked for Jonah when he stays up late typing on the keyboard.

Morning sickness is more like all day sickness but despite being under the weather, Summer received a promotion. She’s now a Caterer (3).

Jonah invited someone over because he needed to discus his fears with an elder. They were able to help with his fears and he was back to normal.

It was that evening they decided to elope than have a big flashy wedding with all their friends and family. It would just be the two of them and their unborn child.

Jonah – I vow not to carry on watching a Netflix series we started together without you. Or at least pretend it’s the first time I’ve watched it when we watch it again.

Jonah and Summer visited the Spice festival in hopes the spicy curry would induce labor. Wishful thinking, but at least Summer won the spicy challenge and got a cool t-shirt.

Looks like the curry DID do its job. Summer is in labor and Jonah is freaking out.

Welcome Jasper Redhill to the world.

Jonah is proud of himself. He came home with another promotion and is now a Social Justice Worker (3).

He has finally decided to write his first book. Jonah called it The Gas we Pass: The Story of Farts and dedicated it to Jasper.

Jasper aged up looking exactly like his mother. He also received the Cautious trait.

Jonah and Summer were absolutely smitten with their son. They couldn’t wait to give Jasper a sibling, it was decided they would try for another once he was a toddler.

And just like that it is Sunday 8AM. That means it is time to say goodbye to the Redhill’s and meet the next family/challenge. Bye-bye.
